Cookies and Blossoms Party Scheduled for May 27

May 24, 2005

Baylor University's Facility Services will hold a "Cookies and Blossoms" party from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, May 27, at the McReynolds Nature Walk and Pavilion, which is located between the Harry and Anna Jeanes Discovery Center and the Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village. Cookies and lemonade will be served.
This is the third party sponsored by Facility Services, and others will be scheduled around campus on the last Friday of the month, said Lynn Woodward, coordinator for campus advocacy for Facility Services.
"These events provide opportunities for the Baylor community to enjoy the beauty of the flowers on campus," she said. "Right now, the McReynolds Nature Walk is filled with wildflowers, principally coreopsis and Indian blankets."
To reach the McReynolds Nature Walk, enter the Discovery Center through the main doors on University Parks Drive; tell the ticket desk personnel that you are here for the "Cookies and Blossoms" event at the McReynolds Nature Walk and proceed down the left hallway beside the SBC Theatre and out the back doors, then turn right, to the McReynolds Nature Walk.
The event is free and open to Baylor faculty, staff and students.
