Literacy Conference To Be Held At Baylor June 8-10

The Texas Baptist Literacy Missions Center will host the Conference for International and Literacy Ministries at Baylor University June 8-10.
This is the third biennial conference for volunteers who work in teaching English as a Second Language or teaching adults to learn to read.
Breaking down barriers and building friendships will be the main focus of this year’s conference. Several workshops will be available for experienced workers as well as basic workshops for new volunteers. The workshops will focus on international student ministries, preparation and presentation of devotionals for ministries, and cultural awareness.
The keynote speaker for the conference will be Kendale Moore, a national missionary of the Ministry Evangelism Team of the North American Mission Board.
