Baseball Head Coach To Host Five Summer Camps At Baylor

Baylor University head baseball coach Steve Smith and his staff will host three day camps and two overnight camps this summer.
Total skills day camps will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on June 19-23, 26-30 and July 17-21. These camps focus on strengthening the basic fundamentals of baseball, learning new strategies and improving team skills. The camp is open to boys ages 7 to 12. The cost is $125.
A specialty camp which will focus on pitching, catching and hitting will be held July 7-9. This camp is open to boys ages 13 to 2000 high school graduates. The campers will concentrate on pitching and hitting or catching and pitching. The cost for this camp is $240 for overnight and $210 for commuters.
A total skills overnight camp will be held July 9-13 for boys ages 9 to 2000 high school graduates. This is a more advanced and in-depth skills session, which also will deal with the different philosophies of baseball. The cost is $325 for overnight and $285 for commuters.
