Baylor To Hold Summer Commencement Aug. 12

More than 500 Baylor University students will receive their degrees during summer commencement ceremonies at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Ferrell Center.
Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr. will give the traditional charge to students and present diplomas to approximately 327 undergraduates from the College of Arts and Sciences, the Hankamer School of Business, School of Education, School of Engineering and Computer Science and School of Music; 10 students from George W. Truett Theological Seminary; and about 229 graduate students, including 30 doctoral candidates.
Greetings will be brought by John G. Wilkerson Jr., chairman of the Baylor Board of Regents. Dr. Richard C. Chewning, emeritus professor of of management, will act as bearer of the mace.
