Baylor Dean Of Libraries Announces Resignation

Dr. Avery Sharp has announced his resignation as Dean of Libraries at Baylor University, effective May 1. He will remain on the library faculty. Dr. Donald D. Schmeltekopf, provost and vice president for academic affairs, has appointed associate professor Bill Hair, associate director for reference and research services, as acting dean.
Sharp joined the Baylor faculty in 1982 as director of the Crouch Music and Fine Arts Library and was named University Librarian in 1991. He was appointed Dean of Libraries in 1995.
