Baylor Professor To Speak On The 2000 Presidential Election Feb. 24

Dr. Don Greco, assistant professor of political science and director of American studies, will speak at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Cowden Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center as part of the Current Issues Lecture Series.
Greco's speech-- "Election 2000: Will the Elephant Get Gored or the Donkey Get Bushwacked?"--will highlight current events that are significant during this 2000 election and the importance of this election. He also will discuss questions raised by other countries about the 2000 election and give his opinion on the possible outcome of the election.
A special foreign film series will feature "Tilai the Law" at 4 p.m. in room 101 in the Castellaw Communications Building. The film is free and open to the public.
