Student Theater Society to Present A Christmas Carol Dec. 2-4

Baylor University's Student Theater Society will present an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol Dec. 2-4 in the Mabee Theater in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center. Curtain times are 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
The holiday classic follows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge as he learns the values of giving from three ghostly visitors and his late business partner, Jacob Marley. Cast members include Justin Martindale, a sophomore from San Antonio, as Scrooge; Rhett Henckel, a freshman from San Antonio, as Bob Crachitt; and Becky Waldrope, a freshman from Brownwood, as Tiny Tim. The ghostly visitors will be portrayed by Jennifer Collins, a sophomore from San Antonio, as the Ghost of Christmas Past; Tom Parr IV, a senior from De Soto, as the Ghost of Christmas Present, Steve Walters, a freshman from Fort Worth, as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come; and Sam Henderson, a freshman from Corpus Christi, as Jacob Marley.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for senior citizens and children under age 12 and are available at the door. A discount of $1 per ticket will be given with the donation of two cans of food, which will benefit the less fortunate.
