Christmas Tree Lighting Scheduled for Dec. 1

Kappa Omega Tau fraternity will host its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at
7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Fountain Mall on the Baylor University campus.
Grant Teaff, director of the American Coaches Association and former Baylor head football coach, will speak at the event. Nickel and Dime, a Christian rock band from Arkansas, will provide music for the evening.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Toys for Tots through the United States Marine Corps, and students are encouraged to bring toys to donate for the children.
The lighting is an annual event which is free and open to the public. Hot chocolate and apple cider will be provided.
Sweatshirts commemorating the event are on sale for $20, and the proceeds go to "Toys For Tots."
