Reunion Dinners Set for Homecoming

November 10, 1999

Several functions are planned during Homecoming for Baylor University alumni. A highlight of all the events for alumni is the special Reunion Dinner. Dinners are held for classes celebrating anniversaries in multiples of five and for the most recent graduating class, with special dinners planned for 25th anniversary, 50th anniversary and classes graduating more than 50 years ago.
This year's Baylor Homecoming will feature a special dinner for the class of 1949, celebrating its 50th anniversary, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. The Golden Diploma Dinner for the classes 1912 through 1948 will be held at the Harrington House Faculty Center. Both dinners are scheduled for 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12. At 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, the class of 1974 will celebrate in the Barfield Drawing Room. Dinners also will be held for graduates from 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1979, 1984 and 1994.
The Black Alumni Club will have its annual meeting at 10 a.m. in the White Beckham Room in the student union building.
