Biology Department to Host Seminar Series

Baylor's department of biology will host various speakers during the fall semester as part of a series of six seminars.
The first seminar is scheduled from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, and will feature Dr. Robert R. Jacobs from the School of Public Health, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Jacobs's visit is being co-sponsored by Baylor's Department of Environmental Studies. He will speak on the topic of ecologic and public health dimensions of brown lung disease.
Other speakers scheduled to visit Baylor for the fall biology seminar series include speakers from Southwest Texas State University, University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and University of Texas at Austin.
The five remaining seminars will begin at noon on the following dates: Sept. 29, Oct. 6, Oct. 27, Nov. 10 and Dec. 1.
