Student tickets are now available -- free of charge -- for the appearance of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who will bring his Nobel Peace Prize-winning message of justice and peace to Baylor University and the Central Texas community during the President's Forum Oct. 13 at
8 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.
Baylor's Student Congress voted Thursday night to allocate $15,000 from the Student Life Fund to co-sponsor the event and underwrite the cost of student tickets. Tickets, at a limit of one per student with a valid Baylor I.D. card, are available at the Bill Daniel Student Center box office.
For Baylor faculty and staff and the general public, ticket prices for floor seats are $20 for faculty and staff and $25 for the general public. Lower arena seating prices are $10 for faculty and staff and $15 for the general public, and upper arena seats are $5 for faculty and staff and $10 for the general public.
