Harvest Hayride Scheduled for Nov. 17

Baylor University's Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village will host a Harvest Hayride from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. The evening will feature traditional 19th-century autumn activities including turn-of-the-century carnival games, a barn dance, music, a bonfire, a chuck wagon cooking demonstration, and storytelling as well as wagon rides along the Brazos River. Caramel apples, apple cider and hot chocolate will be available.
Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens and $1 for children ages five to 15. Baylor students, faculty and staff and Strecker Museum Association members are admitted free. The Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village is located on the Baylor campus off University Parks Drive.
