Presidential Search Committees Hold First Meeting

March 5, 2005

The Presidential Search Committee and the Presidential Search Advisory Committee met separately and in joint session for their first in-person meetings on March 5 in Waco. Members of the two committees used the time to get acquainted and explore the best processes to be adopted for the search. Korn/Ferry International has been engaged by Baylor to assist in the search process. Search committee chair Bill Brian and search advisory committee chair Lyndon Olson declared the first meetings productive and asked for candidate suggestions from the Baylor family. These should be sent to:

    R. William (Bill) Funk
Consultant to the Search Committee and Board of Baylor University
    Korn/Ferry International
    2100 McKinney Avenue, Suite 1800
    Dallas, Texas 75201
    (214) 954-1849 (FAX)

Brian and Olson also ask for prayers for the committees and their processes.
