Recording Artist Susan Gray To Perform At Chapel

March 4, 2005

by Amanda Lewis, Student Newswriter

Christian recording artist Susan Gray will perform selections from her latest album, "Live Here," during Baylor University Chapel services at 10 and 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, in Waco Hall.
Gray's music brings a message of hope during times of struggle. She draws from her experience growing up in foster care to inspire her fans to persevere through trials. Gray, whose birth parents met in a homeless shelter in Chicago, lived in more than 12 foster homes throughout her childhood.
"You don't live a perfect life just because you're a Christian," Gray said. "I'm not afraid of feelings, and I'm not afraid to write real and passionately."
