Baylor astrophysicist Barbara Castanheira-Endl, Ph.D., was interviewed about the first image of the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy. Endl performed post-doctoral research from 2007-2010 at the University of Vienna, a member institution of the European Southern Observatory that ran the research to produce the image.
