Speaker Gary Permenter To Address Chapel Students

Gary Permenter, from Columbus, Miss., will speak to Baylor University students during Chapel services at 10 and 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, in Waco Hall. According to his web site, "Gary uses his sense of humor and quick wit to make instant connections with people of all ages and backgrounds."
Permenter's education includes a BA in communication management from Mississippi State University and master of divinity and doctor of ministry degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as minister of education & students at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Columbus, before founding Gary Permenter Ministries in 1999. The ministry allows him to conduct revivals, retreats, conferences, and camps across the United States. In 2003, he traveled to more than 300 engagements.
