Author, Jazz Expert To Speak At Chapel

Dr. Bill Edgar, a professor of apologetics at Westminster Theological Seminary as well as an accomplished jazz musician, will address Baylor University students in Chapel at 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Waco Hall.
In addition to teaching, Edgar has written several books, including In Spirit and In Truth: Ten Bible Studies on Worship and Reasons of the Heart: Recovering Christian Persuasion. He also is a part-time professional jazz pianist and an expert in jazz and African-American history.
A 1966 graduate of Harvard University, Edgar received his masters of divinity in 1969 from Westminster and continued his graduate studies at Columbia University. He then received his doctorate of theology from the University of Geneva.
