Baylor to Host Three Exciting New Christian Summer Camps

June 4, 1998

Baylor University's new program, Baylor You, will host three Christian camps for children going into 7-12th grade. Camps dates are June 7-12, 28-July 3 and July 5-10.
The theme is "It's a God Thing" and focuses on relying on God's word to point the way to peace and purpose in life.
In addition to Bible study and worship, campers will have the chance to help in the Waco community. Campers will be assigned in groups to homes, parks, backyard Bible clubs and nursing homes.
Campers also will enjoy the use of Baylor's facilities and equipment and the choice of many activities throughout the campus such as cheerleading, computer research, sign language, water sports, drama, canoeing, video, weight training, choir and many other activities.
Campers will check in Sunday at 4 p.m. and check out the following Friday at 10 a.m.
Baylor will house the campers in two residence halls on-campus.
The fee for the camp is $220. A $50 deposit is required for a reservation, and the remaining $170 is due upon arrival.
