Baylor Religious Hour Choir to Perform in Arlington April 19

WACO -- The Baylor University Religious Hour Choir (BRH) will present musical concerts at 8:15 and 10:50 a.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Arlington.
The 45-member choir is under the direction of Rebecca Kennedy. BRH performs concerts throughout Texas and surrounding states during the school year.
In recent tours, the choir has traveled to Canada, Denmark, Hawaii, Mexico and Sweden. The group will tour in Spain this summer.
The contemporary Christian group will celebrate its 50th anniversary this fall. Notable former members of BRH include Billy Ray Hearne, president of Sparrow Records; contemporary artists Phil Driscoll and Paul Smith; arranger and composer Kurt Kaiser; and Dr. Russell Dilday, president of the Baptist General Convention of Texas and former president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
