The Mayborn Museum Complex will celebrate the holiday season with "A Mammoth Little Christmas." The Mayborn Museum Complex is dressed up for the holidays with "Christmas from Around the World" trees gracing the upper level of the rotunda. The trees were specially decorated by Baylor University international students.
The Mayborn Museum will feature musical guests in the Grand Rotunda throughout the holiday season, and the acclaimed "Christmas at Baylor" production will be shown in the SBC Theater on Thursday evenings.
The Gov. Bill & Vara Historic Village will be adorned for the holidays Dec. 18 for special Christmas events for the entire family. The First United Methodist Church children's choir will perform in the church, and Waco storyteller Vivian Rutherford will tell Christmas stories in the school house. Children also can enjoy the old-fashioned tradition of stringing popcorn and cranberries.
Visitors may shop at the Museum Store for those hard-to-buy-for friends and family on your list. From the whimsical to the educational, the Museum Store offers books, toys, puzzles and plush items for all ages. A family membership to the museum makes a wonderful gift!
Plan to make the Mayborn Museum Complex part of your holiday celebrations.
Admission to the Mayborn Museum Complex is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for children.
