Baylor Makes New Change To Thanksgiving Hours

Baylor University will be closed for the Thanksgiving holidays Nov. 24 through Nov. 28. For the first time, Baylor administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 24, along with the dismissal of all classes.
Residence halls will close at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, and re-open at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28. The Wiethorn Visitors Center will close Tuesday at 5 p.m. and be closed Wednesday through Sunday. The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, but will be closed Thursday through Sunday. The Student Life Center will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday and re-open on Sunday from 4 p.m. to midnight.
Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones Library will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, but will open to a reduced schedule on Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both libraries will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25 and 26, but will re-open Saturday, Nov. 27, from noon to 5 p.m. The Prichard Information Commons on the second floor of Moody Library will be closed on Wednesday and Saturday, but the Moody Computer Facility on the garden level will be open during library hours. Regular library hours will resume on Sunday, Nov. 28, when the libraries are open from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Mayborn Museum Complex will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25, only. The museum will be open the remainder of the holiday break. Museum hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Baylor classes, administrative offices, and facilities will resume normal schedules Monday, Nov. 29.
