Baylor Continuing Education Program To Begin Jan. 17

The Baylor University Continuing Education program will offer a variety of courses beginning Jan. 17 in the areas of liberal and fine arts, computers, physical fitness and special interest.
The courses range in price from $20 to $100 with the exception of the Graduate Record Exam and the Graduate Management Admission Test preparation classes which cost $225. Most of the classes last about six weeks and meet once a week. Professionals from the Waco community as well as Baylor faculty and staff teach the various courses.
Participants in Baylor continuing education courses can earn continuing education units which are nationally recognized by employers, licensing agencies and professional groups.
Courses offered this spring include writing, German, Waco Jazz Orchestra and graphic design. Special interest classes include "Investing in Stocks," "Active Parenting," "Caring For Our Aging Families" and "Principles of Human Resource Management." Participants may choose from more than 50 courses.
