Thanksgiving Worship Service Set for Nov. 20

November 18, 1997

Baylor University's annual Thanksgiving Worship Service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Miller Chapel located in the Tidwell Bible Building.
Dr. William D. Hillis, vice president for student life and the Cornelia Marschall Smith Distinguished Professor of Biology, will deliver the message. The Baylor Concert Choir under the direction of John W. McLean Jr., assistant professor of choral activities, will provide the music.
This service is a traditional event in which the Baylor community shows its thanks for the blessings Americans have received.
"It's especially nice for the retired faculty members because it's a way for them to remain connected to Baylor," said Dr. Charles A. Weaver III, assistant professor of psychology and neuroscience and chair of the Religious Affairs Committee.
The Thanksgiving Worship Service is open to the public.
