Pigskin Revue to Feature Crowning of Homecoming Queen Oct. 30

October 22, 1997

The 1997 Baylor University Homecoming Queen and her court will be announced at the opening show of Pigskin Revue at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, in Waco Hall.
The tradition of selecting a queen began in 1934 with Elaine Cross serving as the first "Homecoming Sweetheart." Currently, the queen is chosen from more than 50 nominees selected by various campus organizations.
Pigskin Revue, an annual fall showcase of the award winning acts from the spring semester's All-University Sing, can also be seen at 7 and 10:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.
Students can purchase two tickets for $8 and adult tickets are $10 each.
