Sigma Gamma Rho Presents Women to Women Conference On Oct. 17

The Sigma Gamma Rho sorority at Baylor University will host a Women To Women Conference on "The Challenge Of An Unfinished Task In This Decade" at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 17. The meetings will be held in the Harrington House on the Baylor campus.
Topics for the conference include Mothers to Daughters; What's Love Got to Do With It; Health Fitness; Date rape; Having it all; Male, Female Relationships; and others. For some sessions, the local Peer Education group, Waco Pregnancy Crises Center and the president of Association of University Women will speak.
The key note speaker will be Connie Jackson from Texas City, Texas. She is the first African American woman to serve on the city commission in Texas City.
The conference is free and open to the public.
