WACO, Texas (Oct. 17, 2017) — The Baylor Family will unite Oct. 19-21 to celebrate the 108th anniversary of Baylor Homecoming, the oldest collegiate homecoming in the nation. Below is information about the main events and traditions.

Thursday, Oct. 19

Mass Meeting — Homecoming weekend will kick off with Mass Meeting, which includes a candle lighting ceremony and the story of the Immortal Ten at 10 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.

Pigskin Revue — This annual Homecoming tradition, which showcases the winning Broadway-style acts performed by campus organizations from the previous spring's All University Sing competition, will begin at 7 p.m. in Waco Hall at 624 Speight Ave. For more information, visit the Baylor Homecoming website.

Friday, Oct. 20

Alumni Reunion 50 Year — Alumni of 1967 will return to reminisce and reconnect at the Class Reunion Gatherings hosted by the Baylor Alumni Network from 4 to 7 p.m. in Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. For more information, visit the Baylor Homecoming website.

Alumni Reunion Heritage Classes — Alumni of 1962, 1957, 1952, 1947, and 1942 will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Baylor Club Suite Lounge of McLane Stadium for a Class Reunion Gathering hosted by the Baylor Alumni Network.

Singspiration — Join members of the Baylor Family and Waco community as they celebrate Homecoming weekend with a worship service at 7 p.m. at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, located at 602 James Ave. For more information, visit the Baylor Homecoming website.

Extravaganza/Bonfire — Experience the lighting of the bonfire, a pep rally, fireworks and other activities from 7 to 10 p.m. on Fountain Mall.

Friday Night Flashback — Walk through a flashback of Baylor’s history and traditions on the first floor of the Bill Daniel Student Center from 6 to 10 p.m. Showcases include Sing and Pigskin, the Baylor Line, Slime Caps, recent and past athletics highlights, Diadeloso and much more.

Saturday, Oct. 21

Homecoming Parade — Led by the Golden Wave Marching Band and grand marshal, Baylor President Linda A. Livingstone, the Homecoming Parade will feature enormous floats, balloons and organizations traveling down the streets of Waco in celebration of Homecoming Weekend. The parade will start at 8 a.m. downtown and move its way through campus at 8:30 a.m. The parade will be broadcast live on KCEN-TV channel 6, beginning at 8 a.m. KCEN will also stream the parade at link. Alumni Reunion Picnic — Classmates and friends will gather at the Alumni Reunion Picnic adjacent to the Baylor Alumni Network Tailgate tent by McLane Stadium at 3 p.m. for free food and giveaways. For more information, visit the Baylor Homecoming website.

Football Game — The Baylor football team will take the field against West Virginia at 7 p.m. in McLane Stadium at 1001 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
