Basketball Tournament Set for Sept. 27-28

WACO, Texas - The Waco Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual Pre-Season State Invitational Basketball Tournament Sept. 27-28. Games will begin at noon in the Ferrell Center and in Russell Gymnasium on the Baylor University campus.
The tournament will include 16 Texas division 5A and 4A boy's teams. Players will range from ages 16-18.
"The tournament is a recruiting tool because it gives prospective students a chance to visit Baylor University and Waco," said Ted Jacobs, director of business development and special events.
The tournament is sponsored by Dr Pepper and is free and open to the public.
