Baylor Summer Commencement Scheduled for Aug. 16

Baylor University will award degrees to an estimated 689 students during its summer commencement exercises at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, in the Ferrell Center.
Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr. will give the charge to the students and will present diplomas to approximately 403 undergraduate students, three seminary students and about 283 graduate students, including 32 doctoral candidates.
Dr. Dorothy McAlister, emeritus professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, will be the bearer of the mace.
