Baylor to Host Church Conference for the Blind

The 46th annual Texas Church Conference for the Blind will be held on the Baylor University campus Aug. 1-3.
According to Lynn C. Smith, president of the organization, approximately 65 blind or visually impaired persons will attend the conference this year.
The conference will include Bible study, music and talent time. The group will also elect officers for the coming year. Meetings will conclude on Sunday with a noon meal.
The conference was established by the late Edwin Wilson, founder and director of the Christian Education for the Blind in Fort Worth.
Cost to attend the conference, including six meals and two nights lodging, is $93.
