Value of Children Subject of Breakfast at Baylor April 29

April 22, 1997

Dr. Tillman Rodabough, professor or sociology at Baylor University, will speak about "Devalued Children: Twentieth Century Style," at 7 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the Harrington House during Breakfast at Baylor.
Rodabough will discuss the education of children, abuse, economic factors that impact the lives of children and suggest some solutions to problems within these issues.
"The most valuable asset to America's future is its children," Rodabough said. "Protecting, educating and training them in the best values of citizenship are the best ways to fulfill the country's future."
The Baylor Office of Continuing Education and the Waco Chamber of Commerce host the breakfast as an opportunity for the academic and business communities to enjoy a meal together and engage in informal conversation.
