Campus Closures for Spring Break

WACO, Texas (March 4, 2016) – Baylor University will not hold classes from Monday, March 7, through Friday, March 11, for spring break. However, some university facilities and all administrative offices will remain open.
Libraries and Study Areas
• The Central Libraries will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. They will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday, March 14.

• The Baylor Sciences Building will close at 7 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. It will close at 7 p.m. from Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11, and will be closed on Saturday, March 12. It will be open from 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 13.

Dining Options
Residence Halls
• The Penland Crossroads will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed from Saturday, March 5, to Sunday, March 13.

• East Village Dining Commons will be open from 7 to 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 4. It will be closed from Saturday, March 5, to Sunday, March 13.

• Brooks Great Hall will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed from Saturday, March 5, to Sunday, March 13.

• 1845 @ Memorial will be open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed from Saturday, March 5, to Sunday, March 13.

• Regular hours for all dining halls will resume Monday, March 14.

Other Dining Options

• Chick-Fil-A and Mooyah in the SUB Food Court will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 4. They will be closed Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6, but will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11. They will be closed Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13.

• Panda Express with be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 4. It will be closed from Saturday, March 5, to Saturday, March 12. It will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 13.

• Einstein's will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 4. It will be closed on Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. It will be open from 8 to 11 a.m. from Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11. It will be closed Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13.

• Freshii will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, March 4. It will be closed from Saturday, March 5, through Sunday, March 13.

• The Starbucks in the Baylor Sciences Building will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed from Saturday, March 5 through Sunday, March 13.

• Au Bon Pain in the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed from Saturday, March 5, through Sunday, March 13.

• The Starbucks in Moody Library will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed on Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. It will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday, March 7, through Friday, March 11. The Starbucks will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, and from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday, March 13.

• The P.O.D. at Penland will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, March 4, and noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. It will be closed from Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11, and will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 13.

• The P.O.D. at East Village will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, March 4. It will be closed from Sunday, March 5, through Saturday, March 12, and will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 13.

• The Law School Café and the Terrace Café at Clifton Robinson Tower will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed from Saturday, March 5, through Sunday, March 13.

• East Village Bakery will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed from Saturday, March 5, through Sunday, March 13.

• McMullen Connally Faculty Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be closed from Saturday, March 5, through Sunday, March 13.

• Normal hours for all dining options will resume Monday, March 14.

Recreation
• The McLane Student Life Center will close at 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed on Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. The SLC will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11, but the pool, rock and SLC gym will be closed.

• The SLC will be closed Saturday, March 12. It will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 13; however, the pool, rock and gym will remain closed. Normal hours resume Monday, March 14.

• The marina will remain closed for winter until Monday, March 14.

• The Mayborn Museum Complex will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.

• Armstrong Browning Library will remain open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 7, through Friday, March 11, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 12. The library will be closed Sunday, March 13.

Campus Resources
• The Bill Daniel Student Union Building (SUB) will close at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, and will be closed Saturday, March 5, and Sunday, March 6. SUB hours will be 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays from March 7 to March 11. The building will be closed Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13. Normal hours resume Monday, March 14.

• The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12, and closed Sunday, March 13. Normal hours resume Monday, March 14.

• The Baylor Mail Center will be open its normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11, and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12. It will be closed Sunday, March 13.

• The Baylor Health Center Clinic and Pharmacy will be closed from Saturday, March 5, to Sunday, March 13, but the Health Center Business Office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Normal hours resume Monday, March 14.

• The Wiethorn Visitors Center will be open its normal hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 7, through Friday, March 11.

Residence Halls
• Residence halls will remain open during spring break. Front desk services will be limited from 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, until 1 p.m. Sunday, March 13.
