Baylor Delays Opening Until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24; Law School Classes Will Begin at 9:15 a.m.

WACO, Texas (Feb. 23, 2015) – Because of icy conditions on local roads, bridges and overpasses, Baylor University will delay opening until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015.

All Baylor offices will open at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, and classes will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Classes at Baylor Law School will begin at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Baylor's Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Dallas will delay opening until noon Tuesday. Morning clinical and lecture classes are canceled. J1 classes originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m. will begin at noon. All afternoon classes will meet at regularly scheduled times.

Baylor Dining Services will operate the University’s residential restaurants on a normal schedule. Retail locations will open at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Baylor University Shuttle (BUS) service will begin running at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

At this time, the top levels of all campus parking garages are closed. Baylor Police and parking service personnel will reevaluate the situation in the morning and re-open those floors as weather conditions improve.
