Baylor’s Mayborn Museum Hosts “All Aboard the Mayborn Express” Exhibit

WACO, Texas (Dec. 5, 2014) – The Mayborn Museum will welcome the Central Texas Area Model Railroaders (CentraMod) and their trains for the “All Aboard the Mayborn Express” exhibit from Dec. 7 through Jan. 5, 2015.
The extensive train exhibit, which has been hosted by the museum for eight consecutive years, will be located in the Anding Traveling Exhibit Gallery and will include bridges, trestles, cities and towns in the past and the present.
“This exhibit has a strong following amongst our museum members and others in the community,” said Rebecca Tucker Nall, assistant director of communication for the museum. “We are pleased that we are able to work with CentraMod to continue this wonderful holiday tradition.”
Admission to the museum is $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and $4 for children. The exhibition is free to all museum members and Baylor students. The Mayborn Museum is at 1300 S. University Parks Drive.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. For more information about the exhibit, contact the museum at (254) 710-1110 or visit www.baylor.edu/mayborn/
