Baylor Finishes First in National MBA Ethical Leadership Competition

WACO, TX (Dec. 2, 2014) – A team of Baylor University MBA students won first place in the 8th annual National MBA Case Competition in Ethical Leadership.
“The Baylor team’s performance was the result of their hard work and keen insights as well as the ethics training they receive as students in our MBA program,” said Mitchell J. Neubert, Ph.D, Baylor professor and Chavanne Chair of Christian Ethics in Business.
Baylor teammates Joe Gastler, Monica Pantea, Lauren Moser and Clint Justice were awarded the $5,000 grand prize.
The competition was hosted by Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business in tandem with the Dale P. Jones Business Ethics Forum. The goal of the competition is to advance the development of ethical leaders through experiential learning.
Teams from Auburn University, Brigham Young University, Iowa State University, Pepperdine University, Texas A&M University, University of British Columbia, University of Illinois, University of Minnesota, University of Notre Dame, University of Pittsburgh and University of Washington took part in this year’s competition.
