Baylor Bookstore to Host Book Signing Event with Head Football Coach Art Briles and Sports Writer Dave Campbell

WACO, Texas (July 10, 2014) – The Baylor Bookstore will host a book signing event featuring Baylor head football coach Art Briles and legendary sports writer and Baylor alumnus Dave Campbell at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at the bookstore, 1201 S. Fifth 5th St. on the Baylor campus.

Briles will sign copies of his new book Beating Goliath: My Story of Football and Faith, co-authored by former Sports Illustrated editor Don Yaeger. This latest book provides a peek at Briles’ life on and off the football field, focusing on lessons in faith and hard work learned from his father and how these lessons have helped shape his life and his coaching.

Campbell will sign the recently released summer edition of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine featuring Briles on the cover alongside Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty and wide receiver Antwan Goodley. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football covers high school, college and professional-level football in Texas.

The book signing event is open to the public. Copies of Beating Goliath and the summer edition of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football are available for purchase at the Baylor Bookstore leading up to and on the day of the signing. Anyone who purchases both titles together will be entered for a chance to win a poster autographed by Briles and Campbell.
