'Dante Teller of Tales' Scheduled for Dessert Theater Nov. 11

Baylor University's Department of Student Activities will sponsor a dessert theater at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Theatrical performer Dan Gordon will present "Dante Teller of Tales," dramatic storytelling that is amusing and thought-provoking. The selections in "Dante" encourage acceptance of differences and are derived from many different cultures.
Stories in Gordon's repertoire include "Daughter and Dragons," a fable which uses the audience as musical accompaniment, "The Wisest Man in the World," a Native American folk tale and many others.
"Dante" has been featured at schools, camps, coffee houses and private functions. The performance appeals to all ages, from children to seniors. Gordon as Dante has been performing his many stories since 1979. He also works as a teaching artist with the Texas Institute for Arts in Education.
"Dante Teller of Tales" is funded in part by the Texas Commission on the Arts. There is no admission charge and free desserts will be served.
