October 23, 1996

WACO, Texas - Baylor University, a member of the Metro Area Consortium of Career Services Center, (MAC3) will co-sponsor Metro Job Fair '96 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Arlington Convention Center.
More than 200 companies will participate in the job fair including American Express Financial Service, Baylor Health Care System, the Central Intelligence Agency and many other major corporations. Representatives from the various companies will provide job seekers with information on entry level, and experienced positions within the respective companies. The employers will except resumes.
Job fair attendees also may attend job search seminars and have their resumes critiqued by resume experts.
MAC3 consists of 35 institutions, including Abilene Christian, Dallas Baptist University, Texas Christian University, the University of Dallas and the University of Tulsa. Participating institutions encourage current and former students to take part in the fair.
John Boyd, director of the Baylor Career Services Center, said the fair would be a great opportunity for students and the career services center to make new business contacts.
"This is an opportunity for Baylor students to look at a vast array of employers whom would not come to campus," he said.
