After Dark 2013 to Showcase Baylor Talent

WACO, Texas (Sept. 18, 2013) - After Dark, Baylor University's annual fall talent show, will showcase gifted students at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2013 in Waco Hall.
The show, which is held annually during Family Weekend at Baylor, will feature top student talent and includes everything from singers and dancers to a ventriloquist this year.
Hannah Park, executive producer of After Dark, said the Student Productions team wanted to put together a diverse group of acts.
"This year we really tried to capitalize on variety," she said. "We have everything from Coldplay medleys to salsa dancers. There are definitely some surprises."
Park is proud of the lineup and staging for the event and believes the audience will be pleased.
"The set this year is going to be awesome and will hopefully create a really cool atmosphere," she said. "I also think the talent this year has set the bar a lot higher than in the past."
The show acts will be:
' Boom Boom, a hip-hop dance performance by Brennin Hardy, Charles Ademolu, Lindsey Moses, Leesha Moody, Kat Watson, Lena Dohvoma, Kaycee Anderson, Nathan Elequin, Meghan Haffey, Nina Okonkwo, Brent Mattox, Dylan Flynn, Melanie Hammond, Sjon Taylor, Nemo Raghauan and Brittany Epps
' Piano improvisation by Zachery Bohl
' The Accidentals, a musical mash-up performed by Megan Beeker, Tyler Fox and Emily Faulk
' Guitar and vocals by Hunt Hewell
' Human Dummy Act, ventriloquism by Brittany Tew
' VirtuOSO, an a capella singing group that includes Amy Farnell, Kaei Betton, Cassie Eggen, Kandace Wyatt, Ross Tarpley, Darrell Morris, Austin Montgomery, Adam Gilliland, Caleb Moore, Scott Clark, Chase Gaines, Chris Peters
' Singing and guitar by Isabella Maso
' Dancing by Jackie Brown
' Contemporary dance solo by Hannah Adams
' Latin dancing by the Latin Dance Society
