Spring/summer Fashion Forecast Set for Oct. 11

Cotton Inc. will present an early look at 1997 spring and summer fashion trends beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in Room 213 of Baylor University's Mary Gibbs Jones Family and Consumer Sciences Building.
A leader in fashion forecasting, Cotton Inc. provides a "trend predicting service" for key decision-makers in the apparel industry, such as mills, manufacturers and retailers, who use the service to predict future fashion trends.
Amy Lamoureux, marketing coordinator from the Dallas office of Cotton Inc, will forecast 1997 spring and summer fabrics and colors and promote the use of cotton with fashion merchandising students.
"It is a great opportunity to have Cotton Inc here at Baylor, talking about trends in the fashion industry," Dr. Judith Lusk, professor in Family and Consumer Sciences.
