Christian Counselor to Speak in Chapel-Forum Oct. 9

Stephen Arterburn, a Christian counselor and licensed minister, will speak during Baylor University's Chapel-Forum at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Waco Hall.
Arterburn will speak on facing the truth about ourselves, doing what we need to do in our lives, and freeing ourselves of confusion in his talk titled "The Truth Will Set You Free." Arterburn, a nationally known speaker and author, has published 19 books including "Toxic Faith," "When Someone You Love is Someone You Hate" and "Gentle Eating."
Arterburn is co-founder and Chairman of Minirth Meier New Life Clinics and host of the Minirth Meier New Life national radio program. He was awarded "Socially Responsible Enterpreneur of the Year" by Inc. Magazine, Ernst &Young, and Merrill Lynch. He has appeared in many national publications such asUSA Today .
Arterburn received his bachelor's degree from Baylor and earned his master's degree from the University of North Texas. He also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
