Gender Studies Lecturer Scheduled for Sept. 24

Dr. Cindy SoRelle, an expert in gender studies and communicating with the opposite sex, will speak at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Room 116 of Draper Hall at Baylor University. Her lecture titled, "He Said, She Said: Communicating with the Opposite Sex," is sponsored by the Department of Gender Studies and is free and open to the public.
SoRelle is a graduate of the University of Houston with graduate degrees from Kent State University and the University of Texas at Austin. She has presented more than 130 speeches, lectures and workshops for academic and professional groups in the past 15 years.
She also has served as a consultant to the University Interscholastic League (UIL) and the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Texas. SoRelle is certified as a "trained leader in communication" by the Texas Speech Communication Association.
