Hampden-Sydney College President Christopher B. Howard and Midland businessman Dan Hord III begin terms on Baylor's governing board

WACO, Texas (Jan. 23, 2013) - Baylor University Board of Regents Chairman Richard Willis announced today that Dr. Christopher B. Howard, president of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, and Dan Hord III, BBA '89, partner in HEDLOC Investment Co. LLC and Western Property Group of Midland, have been elected to three-year terms on the university's governing board. Baylor Regents will welcome their two newest members when the board next meets in February.

"Dr. Howard is an outstanding academic who brings to the board a wealth of experience in higher education. Mr. Hord represents the best of Baylor as an outstanding young business executive.
