Baylor Parents Weekend Set for Sept. 20-21

Parents of Baylor University students will be honored and entertained during Parents Weekend Sept. 20-21, as they tour the Baylor campus, meet members of the Baylor faculty and attend the Baylor-Oregon State football game.
Events of the weekend will begin Friday, Sept. 20, with a viewing of the Baylor bear mascots Judge Bill "Billy" Boyd and Judge Virginia "Ginny" Crump at 2 p.m. at the Baylor Bear Pits. Baylor professors will speak to parents during "Baylor in Focus" at 4 p.m. Friday, and Professor Emeritus and Master Teacher Robert Reid will give a history of Baylor at 5 p.m Friday. Both events will be held in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
After Dark, Baylor's annual variety show, will be performed at 7 and 10 p.m Friday in Waco Hall. The day will conclude with a dessert party at 9:15 p.m in the Burleson Quadrangle.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, a parent/faculty coffee is set for 8:30 a.m at Founders Mall. At 2:30 p.m. Saturday parents will watch the football game and end the day with dinner on the grounds at 5:30 p.m. at the Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village.
