Special Business Hours At Baylor University During Winter Break

Development office open Dec. 26-28, Dec. 31 for year-end giving

WACO, Texas (Dec. 12, 2012) - As students enjoy time off during Winter Break, Baylor University will operate with special business hours. All services and offices will resume their regular hours in advance of classes beginning Jan. 14, 2013. Please note the following changes during the school holiday:
' Administrative offices will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2 in observance of the holidays. University Development will additionally be open Dec. 26, 27, 28 and 31 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
' Recreation: The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be closed Dec. 16 through Jan. 6. The Baylor Marina will remain closed for winter until March 2.
' Dining: Collin's Café and Brooks Dining Hall will close at 2 p.m. Dec. 11. Penland Food Court will close at 2 p.m. Dec. 12. Memorial Dining Hall will close at 1 p.m. Dec. 15. The SUB Food Court and most retail dining locations will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1.
' Libraries: Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones Library will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 2. Armstrong Browning Library and Collections of Political Materials (Poage Library) will also close Dec. 22, reopening Jan. 2. The Texas Collection at Carroll Library will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 2. The Baylor Law School library will be closed Dec. 22-26 and Dec. 30 through Jan. 1. It will be open Dec. 27-28 and Jan. 2-5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
' The Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB) will close at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and reopen Jan. 2. The Mail Room will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 13.
' The Mayborn Museum Complex will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan 1.
' The Baylor Bookstore will close Dec. 21 and reopen Dec. 27. The bookstore will also close Jan. 1.
' The Wiethorn Visitors Center will close Dec. 21 and reopen Jan. 2. Campus tours will resume Jan. 14.
' The Baylor Health Center Clinic and Pharmacy will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 7.
' Residence Halls will close Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. and reopen Jan. 7 at 9 a.m.
Year-end Giving
Baylor's Development Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 26-28 and from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 31 for year-end giving. Call 1-800-229-5678, option 4 or (254) 710-2561, to reach a staff member for assistance.
There also are several easy and convenient methods to make a gift, including making your gift online through Baylor's secure website. Online credit card gifts must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CST on Monday, Dec. 31.
