'Mock Interviews' Set at Career Services Center Sept. 19-20

September 12, 1996

Baylor University will host "Mock Interviews" from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 19-20, in the Career Services Center, located in the Hankamer School of Business.
Corporate recruiters will conduct and videotape practice interviews with students. The taped interviews will last approximately 30 minutes and students will spend an additional 30 minutes with the recruiter to critique, polish and style their interviews.
According to Career Service Center personnel, the free service is highly recommended for seniors and graduate students. It also is beneficial for students interested in perfecting their interviewing skills and becoming highly competitive in their job search.
"It is an excellent opportunity for students to improve their interview skills. We will have more students wanting to interview than we will have recruiters," Carolyn Muska, assistant director for recruiting, said.
Interested students should sign up early in the interview notebook on the first floor of the Career Services Center as spaces are limited. For more information, contact Muska at 755-3771.
