Baylor University's annual Fall Fest will feature booths and games from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Fountain Mall, located on Fifth Street.
Various university organizations will set up information booths and distribute materials to all interested students on how to become involved in campus activities.
More than 90 groups ranging from academic organizations to professional and social organizations are expected to participate.
"Fall Fest is a great way to find out about involvement opportunities and it generates publicity for each campus organization. Involvement is important because it gives back many things: it helps students have a better sense of community and it improves their grade-point-average because they learn time management and responsibility," Melissa Prihoda, coordinator of student involvement, said.
Fall Fest is sponsored by Baylor's Student Activities Involvement Board. For more information, call Prihoda at 755-2371.
