It is fitting that a South of the Border gamble nearly two decades ago would ultimately yield an acclaimed Texas troubadour. Cory Morrow's humble artistic beginnings read like the gritty lyric of an unwritten Townes Van Zandt song. This straight-shooting musician, who released his ninth solo release "Vagrants and Kings" on May 20 through Sustain Records, a branch of Universal Music, started strumming at the age of 15.

"Vagrants And Kings" finds Morrow at his strongest artistically, personally and spiritually. Morrow's rustic sound remains part singer/songwriter: poetic and acoustic. More information about Cory Morrow is available at www.corymorrow.com.

BAYLOR FOOTBALL 2012

Art Briles' 2011 Valero Alamo Bowl Champion Baylor Bears are coming off a record-setting 2011 campaign that produced just the second 10-win season in program history and saw more than 100 school records fall. With a strong core of returning starters, the 2012 Bears will take aim at a third straight bowl bid against a schedule that features nine teams that played in the postseason a year ago. The Bears will kick off the 2012 season at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, vs. SMU at Floyd Casey Stadium.

Baylor football season tickets, which may be purchased for as little as $95 each for Baylor's six-game 2012 home schedule, are available online at www.BaylorBears.com/tickets, in person at the Baylor Athletics Ticket Office or by phone at (254) 710-1000.
