Baylor to Hold All-State Music Choir Camp

Baylor will hold an All-State Music Choir Camp July 28-Aug. 1 in the Glennis McCrary Music Building.
The camp is geared toward preparing participants for the 1997 All-State Choir. Each participant will be given training on the music used for 1996 All-District, All-Area and All-State auditions.
Faculty for the camp includes, Dr. Donald Bailey, clinician and director of the 1993 Texas All State Choir; Dr. Wesley Gilliland, camp director; and Earlene Rentz, assistant camp director.
Cost to attend the five-day camp, including tuition, fees, dormitory, meals, and the All-State Music Packet is $235. Commuting students may attend for $135 which includes all activities, tuition, lunch and the All-State Music Packet. Schools qualify for one full camp scholarship for every 10 students attending from their organization. Choral directors are welcome to attend and observe.
Cost for auditing the camp is $120, including tuition, fees, dormitory and meals. Tuition for commuting teachers is $70.
