TIME CHANGES: Heart of Texas Community Tailgate Party Set for March 24

Baylor University will host the annual Heart of Texas Community Tailgate Party, a free event for families on Saturday, March 24, at Getterman Stadium and Baylor Ballpark.

The Heart of Texas Community Tailgate time has changed:

Softball: 11 am, arrive at 9:30 am for tickets
Baseball: 4:05 pm
Tailgate events: 1-4 pm

Baylor University will host the annual Heart of Texas Community Tailgate Party, a free event for families on Saturday, March 24, at Getterman Stadium and Baylor Ballpark. Start times for both baseball and softball games have been changed to support fans, who want to watch the Lady Bears vs. Georgia Tech Sweet 16 basketball game at 1 p.m. Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.

Free general admission tickets, while supplies last, will be available for Saturday's Baylor softball and baseball games. Tickets will be available beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for the Baylor Lady Bears vs. Oklahoma softball game, which begins at 11 a.m. at Getterman Stadium. Tickets will be available at 2 p.m. for the Baylor Bears vs. Kansas baseball game, which begins at 4:05 p.m. at Baylor Ballpark.

The free tickets will be available on game day only. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

In between games, the Heart of Texas Community Tailgate Party will begin at 1 p.m. with free inflatables, carnival games, fast pitch and lunch at Baylor Ballpark. During the tailgate party, fans will able to watch the Lady Bears' basketball game on the big screen.
