Baylor University's Executive MBA program is ranked 35th in 2011, up from 39th in 2010, for United States-only based programs, according to the Financial Times' 2011 rankings.

The program, which includes campuses in Dallas and Austin, also ranked first in Texas among Executive MBA programs for percentage salary increase for graduates (58 percent) and ranked second in Texas for the percentage of women in the program (21 percent).

"Our consistently strong rankings by the Financial Times are a reflection of our fine programs and the result of our commitment to provide seasoned professionals the tools they need to further their career goals. We are very pleased that for several years we have ranked among the top programs for the percentage of women in the classroom," said Gary Carini, Ph.D., associate dean of Graduate Business Programs at Baylor's Hankamer School of Business.

The 21-month Dallas and Austin programs are based on a learning environment that enriches the classroom because students learn extensively from their peers as well as Baylor's tenured faculty. Students develop a strong sense of ethical considerations and a global perspective, equipping them to tackle complex business environments.

In Dallas, EMBA classes meet every other weekend. Classes in Austin convene Monday and Thursday evenings. Both programs include curriculum trips to Washington, D.C., and a trip to Asia or South America.

In addition to Baylor's existing EMBA program, the Dallas campus in fall 2012 will implement an Executive MBA Program with a concentration in healthcare. This program, for medical and administrative personnel, will equip leaders to make significant contributions to their healthcare organizations.
